Terms of use
As of October 2026. Translation for convenience — the German version is legally binding.
1. Provider and scope
crosspost is operated by Tom Stieh, Webdesign & Betreuung (details in the legal notice). These terms apply to the use of crosspost at crosspost.tstieh.de.
2. Service
crosspost publishes videos and texts you upload, on your behalf, to the YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts you connect. Access is by invitation only and currently free of charge. There is no entitlement to a particular availability or to the continuation of individual features; the platforms may change or restrict their interfaces at any time.
3. Your obligations
- You only upload content you hold the necessary rights to (video, music, text, people shown).
- You follow each platform's rules, in particular the YouTube Terms of Service, the Instagram Terms of Use and the TikTok Terms of Service.
- You label promotional content as required by law and by the platforms.
- You do not share your access with others.
4. Responsibility for content
You are responsible for the content you publish. crosspost does not review content. Content published on a platform is managed and deleted there; deleting a post in crosspost does not remove it from the platform.
5. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time under "My account". The provider may end access, in particular for breaches of these terms or if the service is discontinued; where possible you will be informed in advance and can export your data.
6. Liability
As the service is free of charge, the provider is only liable for intent and gross negligence. Liability for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. There is no liability for outages, changes or decisions of the platforms (e.g. suspensions, reach, rejected uploads).
7. Privacy
How crosspost handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
8. Changes and governing law
You will be notified of changes to these terms by email in advance. German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
